TTI has recently started implementing the Intelligent Transportation System or ITS for the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) for Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) after being awarded recently.

TTI is deploying Next Generation Microwave network to PEA (Provincial Electricity Authority). The product is from SIAE, a leading telecom equipment manufacturer from Italy. Both TDM and Ethernet traffic will be supported in the network. TTI has been providing Microwave systems to many operators in Thailand and Laos previously including CAT, TOT, LTC.

TTI has successfully finished deploying SDH and ASON network equipment in the southern region of Thailand for PEA. The equipment was from the leading telecommunications and R&D manufacturer from China, Fiberhome. Both Citran and Fonsweaver model were deployed in the project. The network carries both TDM and Ethernet traffic with the latest ASON restoration technology.

TTI has just completed the RFID Pilot project in Thai Post Company. The technology will help Thai Post improve the speed in its warehouse operation significantly in the future. The RFID or Radio Frequency Identification is a technology where identification of goods items are collected using radio frequency. Multiple items can be read at the same time and each item can be uniquely identified, a major difference from bar code system. Last year Thai Post Company has started a trial project bringing the RFID technology into use at its headquarter in Laksi. TTI together with our RFID equipment partner, Intermec, has implemented this trial both hardware and software successfully. The result is a speed and accuracy improvement for Thai Post warehouse operation.
